Daylight Saving Time Guide for Novell GroupWise Novell
Adjusting Appointments in Caching and Remote Mailboxes
The synchronization process between a Caching or Remote mailbox and the corresponding Online
mailbox does not download the modified end times of appointments accurately. As a result,
appointments in Caching and Remote mailboxes might appear to be one hour too long, with the start time accurate and the end time inaccurate. To solve the problem, remove the inaccurate appointments and download the accurate versions to your Caching or Remote mailbox:
- In the GroupWise Windows client, click Accounts, then deselect Auto Send/Retrieve to turn
off automatic synchronization.
- Click Accounts > Send/Retrieve to make sure that your Caching or Remote mailbox is
completely up-to-date.
- Delete and empty all inaccurate appointments.
- Click Accounts > Pending Requests, select any pending requests displayed in the Pending
Requests dialog box, then click Delete to empty the pending requests queue.
- Click Accounts, then select Auto Send/Retrieve to turn on automatic synchronization.
- To synchronize immediately, click Accounts > Send/Retrieve.
The accurate versions of the appointments are downloaded to your Caching or Remote
mailbox.
